How to get ETH on Soneium Minato
As of Sep 17, 2024, there is no Faucet for Soneium Minato (Soneium test net) and the following steps must be taken.
Get ETH on Sepolia (one of the Ethtereum testnets)
Bridge ETH from Soneium Bridge to Sepolia -> Minato
Go to https://sepoliafaucet.com/.
You will need an Alchemy account, so please do "Please signup or login" to log in or register a new account.
After logging in, enter the wallet address where you want to receive ETH, check "I'm not a robot" and click "Send Me ETH".
If the screen looks like the following, you have succeeded.
You can check the status of ETH delivery from "Your Transactions" and confirm that ETH has been received by Metamask or other wallets.
This is the end of the procedure for obtaining ETH on Sepolia. Next, please proceed to the procedure from Astar Portal.
Go to https://bridge.soneium.org/en/testnet
Please log in with your wallet first.
If you don’t add "Soneium Minato" to the wallet yet, add it with the following information.
Network Name: Soneium Minato
New RPC URL: https://rpc.minato.soneium.org
Chain ID: 1946
Currency symbol: ETH
Block explorer URL: https://explorer-testnet.soneium.org/
After logging in, enter the amount you wish to send from Sepolia to Soneium Minato, select "Review Deposit," and if everything looks correct, press "Initiate deposit" and sign the transaction in your wallet.
After waiting a bit, the "Initiate deposit" button will complete and turn green. Proceed to "Go to transactions," where the status of the current transaction will be displayed. Wait a moment, and once the "Received on Minato" checkmark appears, it means the ETH has successfully arrived in Soneium Minato.
